The Imagineers classroom is the stepping – stone to our Kindergarten Readiness Program. As with our younger levels, it is important in the three and four – year – old program that children are provided with hands-on learning experiences that help with their development. The teachers work as facilitators, providing a rich and emergent curriculum that allows the child to ask questions and discover his or her own answers.
The lead teacher communicates frequently with our Kindergarten Readiness staff in order to lay a smooth foundation for the children as they approach the Kindergarten Readiness Program. A heavy focus is placed on social and emotional learning in the Imagineers classroom. This allows children to grow more confident in the classroom, thus opening the door to greater possibilities in their cognitive development.
